thousand_stars Reading Page seems to be barren, so here's some extra reading material. :3
1) What's the character's name? Duke.
Prefers: CAPTAIN Duke
2) How old is he/she? 33
3) Is the character a boy or girl? MAN.
4) What's his/her race? Human.
Appearance:
1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get? Quite a lot, if not for the costume then for the huge scar across his face. Can't trust a guy like that!
2) Is the character considered normal in his/her own world? He's normal enough, just your typical macho-wacho mercenary.
3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)? Probably his scar, though he seems to carry himself with a signature smirk, too.
4) Would you consider the character as attractive? Sure! For a man into his 30's, he ain't bad. Better than Dios, at least, who's only 29!
Personality:
1) Temper: Duke acts fairly cool and friendly when he's in his element. The only time he ever completely loses his temper (like power level over 9000) is when Geddoe ignores Duke's challenges or even his presence, but that's only because Duke's timing is notoriously bad and always ambushes his rival in the middle of another crisis. He also expresses annoyance when Geddoe acts against orders or addresses Bishop Sasarai inappropriately. BASICALLY GEDDOE MAKES HIM MAD. >:(
2) Does the character ever get depressed? Nah, he takes on each day with a grin on his face. Even constantly losing to Geddoe only makes him look forward to beating him NEXT time!
3) Leader or Follower? Leader all the way, and that's obvious! He will only follow orders from higher-ups of Harmonia (ex. Bishops), usually without question as long as there's money to be made.
4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality? Competition! He loves being the best, and even when he's not, he certainly loves thinking that he is.
History:
1) Does the character have a family of any sort? He has a mother that he doesn't visit often enough. His father used to be a mercenary as well until he died. Nicholas served Duke's father at that time.
2) Is the character out on his/her own? Not at all, he keeps in touch with his unit when they're not on a mission together, and even if a long time passes until they see each other again, it's as if they were never apart.
3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events? Duke doesn't strike me as a guy who's been traumatized, he even seems to carry his battle scars with pride.
4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far? Meeting Bishop Sasarai, according to the manga? LOL "Wow! I've come far in life!"
Romance:
1) Single? Yes.
2) Has the character developed any romantic relationships? Seems to have a close relationship with Elaine. However, I imagine they're both such commitment--phobes that they would only label it as "casually dating" and nothing more! I interpret it this way because they barely talk to each other in the game or manga, but Elaine's ending text implies that she marries him at some point in the future.
3) Virgin? Nope!
4) Does the character like flirting? He does like to put on the charm when he sees a beautiful lady, though most of the time he'll lay it on too thick and will sooner compliment her for her booty rather than her wit.
Symbolism:
1) What animal would you associate the character with? A snake, maybe.
2) Musical Instrument? Guitar, but he isn't nearly good enough as he thinks. Just your basic strums.
3) Element? Lightning. (Sometimes fire if we're talking curry and temper.)
4) Planet? Jupiter?

1) Do you draw your character? Nope.
2) Do you write about him/her? Just for roleplaying.
3) Do you use him/her in any rpgs? (strange question, lol) Nope.
4) What other ways have you appreciated the character? I tried buttered chicken Indian curry. Wasn't spicy enough.
RANDOMIZE!
1) Is the character wanted for anything? Not for anything criminal. He is normally the hunter.
2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
Stubborn: It took Geddoe multiple encounters to convince Duke that Bishop Luc was not to be trusted, as Duke believed that Geddoe was acting against orders, plus he was more interested in settling their rivalry each time.
Crude: Duke and his unit are used to employing a vulgar vocabulary, even when in public. Generally he means no offense, but not everyone takes it kindly! He also has a knack for giving nicknames to people he meets.
Competitive: Even though Geddoe is his TRUE professional rival, Duke loves competing and trying to win at other tasks, too. (Even the ones he's not good at!)
3) Strengths?
Simplicity: He knows what he wants in life and goes for it!
Disciplined: Although he may look rebellious, he actually tries to act in accordance with the rules of the SFDF.
Trustworthy: Despite his other flaws, Duke is actually a competent leader and fighter. If there is a task that needs to be done, you can always count on him. (Especially if there's a price!)
(Extra) Perseverance: NOT SURE IF THIS IS A STRENGTH OR WEAKNESS, LOL. He has never beaten Geddoe, but for some reason he keeps thinking that he will one of these days.
4) Does the character drink or smoke (ect.)? He enjoys some good alcohol. He would light up a smoke if offered, but he's not actively into it.
5) What's one quirk about him/her? His appreciation for spicy hot curry.
6) Does the character have any phobias? No. I joked about him being a commitment-phobe, but that would imply that he fears it. He simply has no desire for it.
7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage? Ignore him when he's come to challenge you.
8) Does the character like chickens? I hope you mean chicks, because he loves 'em!
The Final Question:
What would you consider your relationship with the character to be like?: It's a fresh one to me, so I don't really know what to say. I just wanted a fighter-type character with a strong personality, who's got that nice balance of serious and goofy moments. I didn't care much for him in the videogame, but his portrayal in the manga really made him shine. When I read it I just immediately thought "This guy would fit in our RP". I guess that's my relationship!
